Hi there 😘
How are you all doing?
It’s been a while since I last posted something because I’ve been very busy with school and with my make-up classes. BUT I found some time to test the Sleek Eyeshadow Palettes and write a review about it.
Before I took these make-up classes, I already had a Sleek Eyeshadow Palette in my make-up kit. I bought this because it was a budgetproof palette and I really liked the shades that were in it. I didn’t have the knowledge about make-up I have now, so I couldn’t form a serious opinion about it.
Now, a few years later, I only buy Sleek Eyeshadow Palettes. I started buying them because my make-up teacher used them as well and she strongly recommended them.
iDivine A new Day
The first palette I bought was the iDivine A New Day Palette. This is perfect to start with because you can create a natural look. You have brown for the crease and natural colors for the eyelid. You can also use it to create a heavier look for when you go out for example. This palette is still my favorite.
Ultra Mattes V1 Brights
Another favorite Sleek Eyeshadow Palette of mine is the Ultra Mattes V1 Brights Palette. This is the opposite of the first palette I told you about, but this palette is absolutely amazing. I used this palette for the first time when I had to create an eighties look during my make-up class. I was surprised that these colors were so bright! After this class, I started testing these colors in several make-up looks and got very excited about this palette.
Last week, it was Carnaval Halle, and I was dressed as a scuba diver. I had a blue accent in my diving suit, so I decided to use the same color in my make-up. I used the white and blue shades of the Ultra Mattes V1 Brights Palette, did a little bit of blending and the result was amazing (see the picture above).
Next friday is my make-up exam, and I will use the Ultra Mattes V1 Brights palette to create a Mexican inspired look.
If you are thinking about buying a new, budgetproof eyeshadow palette, think about the Sleek Palettes. You won’t regret it, because the quality is soooo good. Because of the pigments in it, you can also use the colors on a dark skin. I tested this last week and there was no problem at all.
